Trial FAQs

What do I wear to my first class?

“Active Wear” is always best! You do require skin to grip the pole, so we highly recommend shorts, a comfortable shirt, and we dance barefoot, so don’t stress about shoes. Check out our video for ideas on what to wear.

What can I expect in my Trial Class?

When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our operations team members, please feel free to ask them any questions as you need to feel comfortable. We have changing facilities and a bathroom onsite. Once all attendees arrive, your Instructor will give you a tour of the studio and take you upstairs to The Gallery. The trial will start with a short warm-up and some cool pole tricks. This could include a climb, spin, or sit! After you have nailed your first pole trick, you will complete a cool down and return to reception. Here you will be able to ask plenty more questions, see the timetable and even join our sisterhood if you are ready 😉. Want to know what to expect? Check out our studio tour below ⬇️

Do I really need to book?

Yes! When you make your first booking with Addictive Pole Fitness, you must complete a Health Screen Form and a liability waiver. These must be completed prior to attending any classes with Addictive Pole Fitness. These documents help us, help YOU! We will refer to these in the unlikely event of an emergency. PLUS, we keep our classes small so you can get the best experience. By booking, it means you will not miss out.

How many people can attend the trial?

We keep trial classes nice and small. All trial classes are capped at a maximum of 6 women, to help remove the overwhelm of attending your first class. Feel free to bring a friend 👯‍♀️

Will there be time to ask questions?

Of course! Our team will be waiting for you after your trial class, with a copy of our most recent timetable. They will be there to explain everything you need to know about starting your pole dancing journey. Where to start, class recommendations, how to enrol, PLUS any other questions you may have. Please don’t feel obligated to stay after your trial.

How do I book a Free Trial Class?

You have two options when booking a Free Trial Class.

Option 1: Book on the website, by selecting the class and following the prompts.

Option 2: Download the APF App and follow the steps in the how-to video below.

Can I attend a drop-in class as my free class?

Unfortunately, the free offer is only available for our dedicated Trial Classes. If you are unable to attend a trial class, get in touch and we can discuss some options on attending a drop-in class instead.

I am really nervous, is this normal?

THIS IS 100% NORMAL! It can be scary to do something out of your comfort zone!

Everyone at our studio understands what it is like to walk through the doors for the first time. Right before you get out of the car, take a deep breath and get ready for a fun time!

Will I get a reminder?

Yes, our booking system MindBody, will send you text reminders in the lead up to your booking. Please ensure you opt-in to text and emails when creating your account.

What if I can no longer attend?

Please call or text us on 0477 046 046, and we can help you reschedule.

Do your poles have a weight limit?

NO! Honestly, anyone and every BODY can pole dance.

Do you still have questions?

Get in touch! No question is too silly or stupid! Our goal if for you to feel as comfortable as possible coming into the studio, so ask away, we are here to help.
